Classic Constructions hosted a charity golf day in aid of the Olivia Lambert Foundation at The Federal Golf Club in Canberra on 7 April 2011
The event was a sellout with all hole sponsorships sold at $500 per hole and an additional 28 players paid $70 each to cover green fees, free drinks and refreshments on course throughout the day and a BBQ lunch.
Local FM radio station MIX 106.3 ‘s broadcast their morning show LIVE from the club through to 9am. On-air interviews were conducted with the families of kids affected by neuroblastoma including Olivia Lambert and her mum. On a beautiful autumn day in Canberra, all players thoroughly enjoyed the day and gave generously to the foundation through the auction and raffle. Although the figures are yet to be finalised, it appears that around $19,000 was raised on the day - a tremendous result! Thanks must go the all the sponsors and supporters on the day especially Classic Constructions, Federal Golf Club and MIX 106.3.
